Boris Grebenshchikov, one of the most iconic figures of Russian rock music, returns on tour with his band BG+ (which temporarily replaces Aquarium, a band that ceased its activity with the beginning of the war in Ukraine). The tour presents a new concert program titled “Strange News from a Distant Star.”

The program features songs from three recent BG mini-albums, classic Aquarium material, as well as brand-new compositions.

Every Grebenshchikov concert is more than just a performance — it is a journey through musical worlds, where legendary Aquarium songs that became the soundtrack for several generations meet new works filled with tragedy, fresh poetry, subtle irony, and the unmistakable spirit of BG.

BG+ consists of the musicians with whom Grebenshchikov has been recording albums and performing over the past three years. Together they create a rich, vibrant live sound that comes as close as possible to the spirit of classic Aquarium.
